Mark Sheehan first started cabinet making as an apprentice at age 16. The move was then made to solid surfaces three years later with his father and the opening of Perth Solid Surfaces. Specialising in benchtop manufacturing until 2006, he then decided to start his own solid surface business with his wife Sharon. Premium Solid Surfaces has branched out into using different acrylic products such as Corian, Staron, and Hi-Macs with the focus of the business being servicing our trade partners.
Noticing the change in the market in recent years from solid surface to stone, Mark and Sharon decided to start Premium Stone. Investing in the latest CNC stone and waterjet machinery available has enabled Premium Stone to work with a variety of benchtop products. These include Engineered Stone, Natural Stone such as marble and granite, and the latest porcelain products including Neolith, Dekton, Laminam and Maximum.
Premium Stone has been setup as a complete wet fabrication facility fully complying with current stone manufacturing safety standards aimed at the control of silica dust.
